Analog Open Running suspended until after the Open House.

Vice President of Operations has revised the schedule to allow more time for members to qualify trains and prepare for the Open House. Analog will return in December. Check Calendar section for updates.

Lake Shore hosts GM&OHS and Rock Island Techincal Society Special Operating Session Saturday Sept. 29, 2007.

Members of the GM&OHS and RI Tech Society reported that they were very happy with the operation of the layout and all in attendance had a great time. Discussion on the bus ride home was highlighted with compliments about our operating signal system and the smooth operation of the layout.

Thanks to all of the volunteers who helped make their visit fun.

Current 2007 Work Session.
Major Upgrades to track and switches.

Work session to continue through 2007. This upgrade will significantly improve track quality and scenery on the east end of the layout.Single track mainline has been updated from PM Junction through 95th Street interlocking.

Club cars are starting to be delivered with the new Lake Shore paint schemes. Look for these upgraded cars to be hitting the layout soon.
